Marvel Beauty Schools was founded by Russell L. Towle in 1916 and has grown to be Canada’s largest chain of Hairstyling and Esthetics schools. Marvel Beauty Schools currently operates campuses in Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. In Ontario, each Marvel Beauty Schools campus is – registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005; in Manitoba, the Scientific Marvel campus is – registered as a private vocational institution under The Private Vocational Institutions Act; and in Saskatchewan, each Marvel Beauty Schools campus is approved by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Immigration.

All faculty members and their qualifications are in accordance with the regulations of their respective ministries. Notable guest speakers from such high-profile companies as Wella, Joico, and Framesi frequently provide information sessions and lectures to augment the student experience. Our graduates have gone on to achieve success in the field and win prestigious awards including the Golden Curl, the Contessas, and the N.A.H.A.
