Carol Dunne
Barrie's Campus Director Carol Dunne has an impressive 25 plus years experience working with hair. After graduation from the Barrie Academy of Hair, Carol went on to work as an assistant stylist for a full year in a hair studio for master stylists and educators. Her extensive qualifications include Advanced Colour Techniques with Swarzkoff, Geodestic System in Clipper work (1987), Hairstyling Diploma, Euro Naturals Certificate (2006) and Wella Interpretations Certificate (2004 – 2008). Carol attributes her career longevity in the hair industry to a positive attitude, the utmost respect for both clients and co-workers, a willingness to adapt to trends, and, finally, a comfortable pair of shoes! As Campus Director, Carol shares her expertise and knowledge with students, guiding them towards career success and fulfillment in their field of choice.

Connie Wolfe
Marvel’s Campus Director in Kitchener, Connie Wolfe, has worked in the hair industry for over three decades. As well as being a licensed hairstyling instructor, she has also developed superior skills in Instruction Training and Management over the years. Since graduating from Waterloo’s House of Coupal in 1977, Connie has been creating hairstyles for clients and achieving customer satisfaction. Through the study of emerging trends combined with a reliable, people-focused approach Connie Wolfe has proven herself to be the hardworking, dependable professional that guides students towards success.

Miriam Calder
Following in the footsteps of her mother, Miriam Calder pursued an education in hairstyling and hasn’t looked back since. Graduating from Port Huron Cosmetology College in 1973, Miriam went on to stack her hair credentials with a current Michigan State Cosmetology License, a current Ontario Certification of Qualification and an Instructional Techniques Certificate from George Brown College. Miriam Calder brings her mastery of haircutting and styling, dimensional colour, pedicures and lashworks, among other fine-tuned skills, to Marvel’s Windsor campus where students benefit from her positive, professional approach.

Pat Schumann
With a prolific resume of qualifications including a diploma in cosmetology, a diploma in nail technology, Colour Master credentials from Clairol and Goldwell, completion of Milady’s workshop, Interprovincial Journey Person Status (1989) and various styling, cutting, and colouring classes Pat Schumann brings her expertise to students at Regina’s Marvel Campus. As Campus Director here, Pat, who considers herself a “certified hair geek”, imparts her many years of styling experience and industry know-how to Marvel’s career-focused curriculum. The resulting material is practical, hands-on training for success in the career of your choice.

Kelly Beach
Former Marvel student and now Campus Director, Kelly Beach brings her passion for colour and creativity to students at the Cambridge Marvel campus. From her first job working in a family-owned and operated salon to her post as Assistant Manager for Regis Corporation in a number of salons to her current home at Marvel, Kelly has brought both her great people skills and her imaginative approach to clients and students, alike. She encourages her students to explore the limitless possibilities of a career in Hairstyling, Esthetics and Makeup while always learning from other stylists along the way.

Pep Cerqueira
Pebec’s Campus Director Pep Cerqueira is an esthetics expert having developed skills and earned credentials in a number of areas. Her qualifications include an Advanced Esthetics Diploma, an Eletrolysis diploma, Advanced Nail Techniques certificate, Instructor Certificate, and she is a Cidesco member and diploma holder. She particularly enjoys pedicures and electrolysis as the instantaneous change in clients is very gratifying. Since graduation from Pebec in 1985, Pep has been inspired by the opportunity to make people look and feel better.

Maurice Hopkinson
Toronto’s trendy neighbourhood of Yorkville welcomed New Zealand import Maurice Hopkinson as Marvel’s Campus Director. Having spent his entire life travelling and working in the beauty industry with manufacturers, chain salon operations, trade shows, and fashion shows Maurice brings a seasoned knowledge of his craft to Marvel students. At Marvel, Maurice is dedicated to passing on the knowledge and enthusiasm to the younger, up-and-comers so that they may develop a life-long career where there will always be employment.

Charlene Marchand
Marvel’s Chatham Campus Director Charlene Marchland is truly an expert in her field, having worked with hair for over three decades. From her first job shampooing hair at the tender age of 12 to her graduation from Ivan R. Sales School of Hairstying to her current position as Director and Instructor at Marvel in Chatham, Charlene has immersed herself in her craft and mentors students with her wealth of knowledge on the subject. Her extensive qualifications include Euronatural and SoCan Extension Techniques, Milady Master Educator, Redken Salon Management, Goldwell Advanced, and work as an Educator at The Careers Institute.

Marcie McKay
For Saskatoon’s Campus Director Marcie McKay, the beauty industry is a constant learning process and one which she enjoys watching her students progress through. A graduate of Marca College in 1998, Marcie has worked for Marvel since 2001 as an instructor before becoming Campus Director in 2007. Her passion for beauty, in particular nails, is not only something she loves to do but something she loves to impart to her students.

Rose Weir
For nearly four decades, Rose Weir has been immersed in hairstyling from working in a salon to instructing students in the techniques of hair design to her current post as Campus Director for Marvel’s London location. She has received training from Ivan R. Sales School of Hairstyling, Marvel Beauty Schools and George Brown College. Rose now encourages fairness and respect in students, honing their talents and encouraging individuals to realize their potential to change lives for the better.
